I began to focus on a visual art career in 2007 by shooting 'Abstract Cell Phone Photos.' In that time I have worked or exhibited with: NASA, US National Parks, CBS Outdoor, Keds, Fuse TV, Voodoo Fest, as well as getting press from The Times Picayune, Nylon Magazine, and more.
REVIEWS:
'A brilliant piece of historical surrealism.' - The Times Picayune (New Orleans)

'This imaginative artist takes landscape photography to new creative levels. The natural world is simply a starting point for portraying his ideas about humanity, technology, and the environment, while also finding bold new ways of photographic expression.'
Patrick Myers

'Among his manifold talents is the ability to transform the familiar into the unfamiliar using a range of mediums. Dave Rhodes’ focus on the natural world and what makes it so fascinating makes his work entirely captivating. As a musician, a snowboarder, a filmmaker, and a photographer, Rhodes has the experiences one needs to put the world on display like we’ve never before seen. His imagination extends beyond what many of us would see with our naked eye and he explores many avenues with which to bring us his vision. His work will continue to inspire us to re-imagine what we encounter in our everyday for a long time to come!'
